Parkett auf Fussbodenheizung

We constantly hear the believe that massive wood flooring are not good for heating floors. Massive wood flooring have been tradionally seen with skepticism for heating floors. Yet, avoiding using woods which expand and contract too much when the air humidity changes during the year brings exceptional results. Massive woods with a high density can drive the heat much faster and therefore increase the energy efficiency. Woods such as wenge, tauari, doussie or iroko to mention some variate very little with great humidity differences and therefore avoid the appearence of gaps between the planks.
